Yes, it was awesome.
Yes, his skin was really that red.
His skin's probably that red because he's naturally a little paler and he's been outside a lot. There seem to be quite a few pastey's in the background as well. With coats and pants! you'd never see that in my part of the country. We wear shorts up until Halloween/Thanksgiving time. So people hear are less red by late June...they've past the lobster bit and are tan...even the pastey's.
